Apologies for being a terrible friend. Maybe I did know. But I don't think I did. HOW EMBARRASSING.

Tendon hammers are excellent although I personally used to prefer the end of my stethoscope which was usually easier to find. Until it broke.

It's as much that I'm still in awe of the numerous shapes and sizes the tendon hammers come in, having recently found a couple with heads as big as my knees.
