I'm very late to the party, I hope someone is still reading the comments here...

The Basics.

Name?: Elisa
Location: Italy
Other sites you’re on: IDreamwidth, Instagram.
Over or Under 18: I'm 30
What's in your LJ? 40% fandom musings ( other than Outlander, I'm into Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Good Wife, Peaky Blinders, Shameless (US), Game of Thrones - and this is only the currently-airing tv series.) 50% real life stuff (I'm an English teacher and translator by training, at the moment I'm on maternity leave, languages, photography and travelling are my main passions) and 10% books.
How often do you post in your LJ? At least a couple times a week. Lately a bit more frequently because I'm stuck home with a tiny baby and so I have a lot more free time on my hands than usual.

Outlander (I’m basing this on the show since not everyone has read the books. If you wish to speak about the books, which you totally should feel free to do, please put anything behind a spoiler cut).

Have you read the books? Yes, but not the whole series. Outlander is one of my favourite comfort reads so I read/listen to the wonderful audiobook version frequently enough, when I need something uncomplicated and absorbing to distract me from RL blahs. I read book#2 and #3 rather quickly and didn't like them as much and my interest in the whole series floundered when the focuse drifted away from Jamie and Claire...I'm curious to see if the tv show can get me to read give the series another go.
Favourite characters: Jamie and Claire is a bit obvious...so, I'll go with Murtagh. Taciturn and loyal highlander FTW!
What’s your favourite thing about the show so far? how faithful they've been to the book while being extremely accurate in historical terms. Plus the gorgeous cinematography.
What is one thing you wish the show would improve on? I can't thing of a single thing. :D
Favourite moments so far: I have two. 1) At the end of 'Rent' when Angus helps Claire unlatch something from her pack and when Claire makes the handjob joke at Rupert's expense and he and the rest start laughing - two lovely touches to underline that Claire has finally been accepted by the clansmen. 2) (predictably) the Jamie/Claire exchange outside of her room in the inn in 'Rent' again.
Favourite pairings: Jamie/Claire, do you really need to ask? :P I don't mind Claire/Frank either.

Other fandoms/Non fannish interests.

Other shows you watch, characters you love, pairings you’ll ship till the end of time: currently airing shows: Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Good Wife, Peaky Blinders, Shameless (US), Game of Thrones, Orphan Black. Past shows: Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Veronica Mars, ER, Dead Like Me, Being Human (UK). BBC costume dramas (Pride&Prejudice 1995, North& South, etc.) Merlin (BBC). I absolutely adore podfic. Book fandoms: Harry Potter, Rivers of London, the Inspector Rebus series, Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad series.

Favourite movies/musicians/models, etc: Films: Rob Roy (highly recommended if you need more lovely men in kilts during Outlander's hiatus :P), Love Actually, Once, Memento.Music: Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Arcitc Monkeys, Patrick Wolf.
Other interests: Non-fannish interests: just as I said above, languages, photography, travelling. Bilingualism.
Anything else you’d like to share with us: Err, I'm hopeless at the whole Tumblr thing, I have no pretty gifs to offer. Sorry. :(
